Final Statement & Notice of Intended Legal Action

​Let this serve as a formal public and legal notice to the administration and Board of Directors of the Paws for Hope Foundation and the Paws for Hope Better Together Program. As a registered foundation, you are a legally recognized entity, which means you have the capacity to be sued in a court of law for damages, negligence, and breach of contract.

​When I signed the Better Together Enrollment Agreement and Consent Form on August 16, 2021, a legally binding contract was formed. By arbitrarily withholding essential, donor-funded veterinary resources from my senior dog, Zoe, and my service-dog-in-training, you are in direct Breach of Contract. Furthermore, you are violating the legal principle of res judicata. You cannot issue an initial termination on July 6, 2026, have it successfully disputed as being out of the scope of the program, and then turn around ten days later on July 16, 2026, to issue a secondary, retaliatory termination on the exact same grounds while denying an appeal process. This is a flagrant breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing.

​By accepting a disabled individual into a medical support program, your foundation assumed a legal Duty of Care. Your abrupt, negligent withdrawal of this support is not just an administrative failure; it is the Negligent Infliction of Mental and Physical Suffering. The undue strain caused by your continuous harassment and breach of contract has directly resulted in a documented deterioration of my physical health, specifically inducing severe Fibromyalgia flare-ups that require current diagnostic testing and intervention by my attending physician.

​I am offering one final opportunity for civil remedy: immediately reinstate full program enrollment and medical care coverage for both of my dogs, at which point all related blog commentary will be permanently removed. Should you refuse to honor our binding contract, I am fully prepared to pursue formal legal recourse. I will take the Paws for Hope Foundation to court and sue for compensatory damages, breach of contract, and the direct physical harm your negligence has caused.
